Chennai was placed on yellow alert by the Meteorological Department’s nowcast. Up until October 21, thunderstorms and moderate rain are possible. Because of the potential for isolated, intense rainfall in the area, residents are urged to remain prepared.In summary, seven districts in Tamil Nadu are under a yellow alert for rain.
