On Thursday, October 17, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, on Day 2 of the maiden Test between India and New Zealand, Sarfaraz Khan made his maiden duck in Test cricket history for his country when Devon Conway made a diving catch. Despite being given a chance to play in the first Test without Shubman Gill, Sarfaraz Khan was unable to capitalize on the situation. Sarfaraz’s shot was weak because after just three pitches, Conway caught a screamer at the extra cover and sent the batter back to the pavilion.
